Hello NH real estate investors
I did some searching on the forms but couldn't find much about local investors, wholesalers, or contractors. I was hoping to start this thread to meet up with new people in the business. I recently learned that every month NHREIA holds conferences and would like to if anyone else holds month meet ups.
As my real estate investing education continues, I have learned that forming a partnership will lead to greater success.
What strengths do you bring to the table? Who would be the ideal partner for you.
For me personally I can be a private lender and could help with renovation. What I think would be a perfect partner? Someone who knows the renovation process and has done a couple deals under their belt.
I hope this thread turns into an excellent source to meet local people in the business.

@Megan Frank I'm a member of the NHREIA and I would definitely say it is worth the yearly fee. It is the biggest meetup in NH, the speakers provide an immense amount of value, and you won't find better networking opportunities at any other meetup. Personally, I think people should go to every networking meetup they possibly can, regardless of the cost. If you ever get one deal your ROI is through the roof

Hey @Nate Wilson always happy to connect! Not sure exactly what you're looking for, but I'm fairly local to you (based out of Milford) and have done a bunch of projects the past two years and have more lined up.
There are some local wholesalers I could connect you with and the NHREIA meeting in Manchester is a good resource. Tons of local NH investors on the BP website and around with a lot going on!

Hi @Nate Wilson and others, I'm based out of Wakefield, MA but grew up in southern NH and am looking for a multi-family in Nashua, Manchester and a few other southern NH markets. I have extensive underwriting and asset management experience on large commercial deals and am now looking to build a rental portfolio, likely starting with <10 units. Always happy to connect.

Hi @Nate Wilson. Happy to connect as well. We're in Manchester and have two multi-families there and actively looking for the next one. Bought the first as a house hack around 2004/2005 and the second one just last year. We were regularly attending the NHREIA meetings then stopped for a while and went back last month for the first time in quite a while.

There is also a meetup at the Church in Dover, NH on the 2nd Monday of the month. My husband and I have house hacked a condo and 3 duplexes in Tri Cities and looking to move to another soon. I would also like to know more about the rehab process. The NHREIA had a rehab bus tour on 3/31 where an experienced investor showed 3 actual properties on the MLS and went through the scope of rehab and costs. We did not go but it looks like it sold out and they are scheduling another one. Something to watch out for. Non members price is $75. I have never been to the NHREIA meetups. I would be interested in knowing if people find it worth the membership fee ($99).

Thank you @Axel Ragnarsson! I got an email from them today and see you are going to be speaking at the next meetup. That's awesome! Sounds like you are very successful. I currently work Wednesday nights but will have to see what I can do about that so I can catch some of the meetups. Maybe I will see you there. Thanks for the response!
