General Contractors in the OKC metroplex area

Tyler Sekine
Posted

Hi all,

I am looking for referrals and personal recommendations of general contractors that are well rounded in the Oklahoma City metroplex area. I've been searching other forums looking for referrals, but I'm only getting messages from direct contractors promoting their own work, which makes me a little hesitant.

Is there anyone out there that has gone through major rehab for a fix and rent strategy with a general contractor that can vouge for their work and professionalism?

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,
Tyler Sekine

Hey @Tyler Sekine, welcome to the BiggerPockets forums!

I've used a number of GCs for full scale renovations over the past three years and while there are many I can whole-heartedly renounce, two have stood the test:

- Paul Little Construction --> solid processes, good use of subs and oversight of subs, usually within 5% on time and 10% on budget.  Over the years their costs have gone up as they have taken on a number of Nichols Hills flips and rehabs with high levels of success, but I know I can still trust PLC to get it done when it counts.

- Flores Renovations - Oscar and his crew are solid solid solid.  They don't shy away from the small stuff, but they are most at home with the big end-to-end work.  Their costs are appreciably low and Oscar is a delight to communicate with, which is appreciated here.

I have recently done some small work with Essential Construction and, while I do enjoy Kyle as an operator, I can't speak to their overall quality yet due to my limited scope with them.  I will certainly give them a shot on my next large project and see how they do.
