@Alfred Swindell I think at this point it seems that this is a no-go and no one has endorsed it - but for the sake of clarification ( and quite frankly, my own curiosity) could you please elaborate on the B.S. they fed you and the lack of software also? Are you saying that during the 15 day trial you were not given an opportunity to use each of the features and/or that were functions blocked? Just curious , since I also saw the video and came here looking for anyone who had dealt with it before. thanks.
I did the trial, and it seems to be following the same kind of structure as freedom soft, it is totally web based. It is not a bad software, but between freedomsoft and this freedomsoft is stilll the winner, They both will set up a squeeze page for you, and leads generated will automatically populate the software. Also they set up campaigns that scrap craigslist like if you set up ifttt.com However for the price I stick with podio and my own squeeze pages as I don't generate many leads from squeeze pages and have to manually input info as it is, and for me Podio is free. So I don't give this product a thumbs down, but I have decided against using it
@Josh Smith thanks for clarifying that. I have'n't really used any of these lead software generating systems except for RealGeeks which captures leads after they view our website for while and then provide their info - its not a bad system but has a very low conversion rate - mostly I think cause they just want to look at the website , but are forced into providing contact info to keep looking - and a lot of them are just tire kickers. I found a lot more success in forming a local meetup group that draws in investors who are actually motivated enough show up in person.
Great review! Not only did you eliminate some of the speculation on the software itself, you even took the time to mention some software alternatives that accomplish the same thing.
We are considering signing up at my company. Currently, we don't use squeeze pages or do any sort of direct marketing to target off market sellers. I've done some of this personally in the past, before the internet became near ubiquitous, and it was (as most can guess) a lot of work.
@John Smith (or anyone else) : how has your direct marketing utilizing the web been? I've always assumed that people that had houses to get rid of at a discount didn't hit the web to look for a place to sell. But I'm open to the idea that I could be misguided on that.

So far my web pages have been useless. I have had them up for about 8 months now, and everyone that is serious calls. Direct mail expect a 1-4% return depending on what you are targeting. I just sent out 1500 last week and am up to about 8 calls so far. One used my squeeze page and ended up still calling. My squeeze page is simple though, I only collect name email and phone number if they allow. Name and email required. I had a few sign ups that went no further, but unless they unsubscribe my auto responder keeps in touch with them. So who knows, the lead isn't dead maybe still just making up their mind.
So in closing yes I mostly direct mail, with multiple ways to contact me on the mailing, and 99.9% all call me, not use the squeeze page.
This goes back to the flaws of the software (or any "automated" software)...if you're really going to get after it, face to face door to door is the way to go. Phone is the next best thing. After that there is a huge drop off in the effectiveness/response rate.
Automating deal finding from a kick-backed, desktop position is one innovation the tech nerds haven't quite mastered. And i can't blame them. I'm sure its a hard nut to crack.
But, by the same token, this is the reason that the go getters of the world like @Josh Smith can carve out a living doing this. Those with the desire and hunger will make a path where one didn't exist. Those who walk along the carved path trudge through muddied footprints.
We tried Flipster and it was a good out of the box CRM solution. It is more than we needed at this time and have been trying to cancel our subscription for 2 weeks now. We cannot get anyone to answer a phone, return a message or an email. At this point it looks like we are going to have to contact the bank to stop future payments. Think twice about this one. It looks like it is just built off of Podio and repackaged. Find another developer in the Podio ecosystem instead of Flipster and save yourself the trouble.
The software is from Jerry Norton, he has a whole program saying he will pay you a $10k finders fee for sending him good deals. The caveat is, you have to first pay him $1000.00 to be part of the program. I was able to find a link to check out the Data Cruncher.
There are some people on this post that say the software has had many complaints and problmes. Please provide PROOF. I am a FACT Guy.....I want to see PROOF before I invest in ANYTHING. One red flag was the 97/ month charged to CC after a trial period BUT 197/month another 100 for the PRO version which WAS NOT EXPLAINED AT ALL in a brief 3 minute video. It sounds like a good comprehensive software, BUT I would like to see the FACTS and PROOF on how REALLY performed. It is like how the US goes through and selects a president toady, they package it nice, make it look like a performer with lots of experience and a track record ( yea where?) then it turns out to be a dud and in this case after 197 or 97 per month and 6 months of what?
Bill Bordeaux Personal Capital is available on the App Store and I've found it very useful. You load all of your assets, liabilities, and bank accounts into it and it organizes it and calculates your net worth down to the cent.
Yes to what Josh said. I saw it marketed with Data Cruncher by the same gurus. I was annoyed by their calling it a no obligation 15 day trial when you have to tell them to cancel. So the "or else" is still there to end up paying a monthly fee anyway, not my definition of no obligation! If so it would automatically cancel as implied in the ads.
Overall I have a big problem with the software packages that are resident on someone else's server instead of on my home PC/Mac/Unix which then only goes online to pull data. Makes me feel insecure! It seems to me the motivation of the free offers is not to trick you into paying the subscription but instead to create a system where investors' deal data from their legwork gets data raided. They want bird dogs who pay to participate without knowing. Bet people have had deals snaked from them by these software sellers. Or they could just monitor for deals that fell through due to financing and snag them for themselves. Either way it's free bird dogs for them.
I didn't sign up for the trial period but I ocpy and pasted this. This was on the page where i was to fill in my contact information and signup for the $1 trial period. Here are the terms:
Your trial lasts for 15 days. If you don鈥檛 want to continue using Flipster, just cancel before the trial ends and you won鈥檛 be charged. Otherwise, you鈥檒l pay $97/mo, $197/mo, or $397/mo (depending on the plan you choose) for as long as your account is open. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any time.
Now, $97 a month isn't too bad but If I'm not making money its a lot of money!!
Hey guys I use flipster and it's great. I pretty much find all my deals using it. One problem that I think most people have with it is that there is so many tools, people get lost in it. It saves me a bunch of time putting together offers by streamlining leads and analyzing properties. BTW... Ignore those Jerry Norton Ripoff reports. Jerry teaches awesome stuff. Most of those sour complaints are form people who put crap under contract and expect him to blindly buy it paying them $10,000. They underestimate how hard it is to find good deals worth paying an extra $10,000 for.
Old post...but same question. Anyone using this tool? Is it still $97/month and $197/month for the pro? I just watched a video and they only mentioned the $97...nothing about the pro package. And their website doesn't have good info either. I'm curious if there is a "pro" package, what options aren't you getting at the basic level?
I really really really really really REALLY would like some new clients. I would like to help you buy or sell a house. Raise your hand 馃馃従 if you need something like that. Thanks in advance!
I just signed up. I don't get how anyone thinks this is a scam. It does exactly what it says finds deals, has a bunch of helpful tools for managing flips (contractor estimates, offer contract generator, etc), and access to different solutions for funding.
Obviously, you need to still do work (run the right searches, reach out to potential sellers, etc). But the software helps streamline different processes for you.

I wasn't suggesting it was a scam...maybe others were. I just haven't read many (recent) reviews about Flipster. I feel like some of the services are better than others (Propstream, REIPro, Propelia, etc.) I just wanted to know (currently) how Flipster fit in the mix.
I just bought the flipster program and it is freaking awesome. I have been wholesaling in the tough market of St. Louis for 3 years and the first week I got this I locked up 4 deals in a week because of the software. I would highly suggest just the 97/mo though. When I looked into their "deal funding" and upgrade to 197/mo is just a cogo capital affiliate application, direct mail DIY company and some basic training.
