Was sitting around talking with another REI investor friend and the discussion turned to useful phone apps that we use in out day to day business. My favorites are BP, Google Maps, iScanner, Zillow, Realator.com, Trulia, and Evernote. Other than the BP phone app which im sure is a no brainer, what does the BP family consider to be their favorite go-to mobile app to assist them in their day to day business of REI.
@Gerald Marshall I'm with you on a lot of these, also love the podcast app (for BP of course).
The one I use the most is probably Slack (this is similar to an Instant Messanger program but is only used in-house for office members. This helps when I work remotely so I can stay in touch with my team members.
ABBYY is also a good app for reading/snapping a photo of business cards (which then files them in your contacts). You could even have it programmed to send the business card holder a "thank you, nice to meet you message".
For travel (and for certain rentals) I like the Airbnb app. And in that same vein, probably the biggest lifesaver, especially when I'm driving in any city, Waze is a big help in getting you to a destination the quickest!
Road Warrior. It finds the best route for driving to large list of locations. Whether you're door knocking preforeclosures or just looking a comps Road Warrior will determine the best route. You can can input up to 8 addresses in the free version and up to 120 addresses in the paid version which is only $5 a month. Hands down best money I've ever spent in REI.
