Ahhhhh finally successfully flipped my first contact/property at 20 years old. After failing numerous amounts of times, the persistence finally paid off. Profit was only 4,000 but am extremely grateful as it motivates me to do more. Thank you to Biggerpockets.com, the podcasts, the other forums, articles, and everyone who responded to me and led me in the right direction. BiggerPockets helped me immensely, as it was the first place I came to when I got into real estate investing. Thank you everyone !!!

Nice work! If I had started when I was 20, I'd be a zillionaire by now. What an advantage to you for starting so young and you will be highly successful with your amount of persistence!

What was your plan if you weren't able to find a buyer?

Either just list it as an agent because I am also licensed, or back out because I had some clauses in there.

Jordan, I love the resourcefulness you used to get your buyers list, and the nerve to do this in New York. Congratulations on your accomplishment! I hope to do my first deals at the young age of 45 in NYC or out of state very soon.

Thank you. My big takeaway was to put emphasis on learning about the numbers. No matter what, if you find a deal that is REALLY juicy, someone will buy. So I need to focus on getting some really good leads and deals, and the rest of it will come by itself. I have a a big buyers list but getting leads is my challenging part.

Yes it is. It was a long road but that's exactly what worked. Thanks so much Ola!

Congratulations Jordan Santiago you broke the first deal wall, keep at it. Are you just looking to flip contracts? Have you ever thought about going into brokerage?

I'm licensed as well. I am looking to build on business of selling houses/flipping contracts, and then a second of acquisitions eventually. Second business would be fixing and flipping homes but most importantly investing in rental properties.
