I am looking for investors to discuss deal analysis and the market in Rahway, NJ and surrounding cities. I’ve been searching for small multifamily properties in the area for a few months. It would be nice to have someone to discuss how they have been acquiring deals in my area. Thanks in advance!

@Josh Thompson I am in contract on a 2-family in Rahway near the train station and also own a 3-family in Edison NJ. Both deals were found by patiently looking at the MLS.

$235k purchase price on a 2 family. (2) 2 bed 1 bath units. Needs a little work and has the possibility to BRRR. I have estimated rents totaling ~$2700. I am new to Rahway and hope it rents for what I expect after some rehab to make for nice units.

@Josh Thompson Hey i just closed on a two family in rahway about 3 months ago. Me and @Marcus Lawson are thinking about starting a meet up in rahway or linden which is the town next door. ill keep you posted. If you want to look at the analysis i did for my current property, i can send it to you and we can talk about it.

@Andrew Franceschina sounds good. I’ll definitely keep you posted. I’m currently running a meet up in Staten Island and after speaking with @Marcus Lawson, we are probably going to figure out a date to make a local Rahway meet up.

Thanks Ronny for the tag, Great to see more of us in Rahway @Andrew Frances and @Josh Thompson. I'm currently house-hacking a 3 Family house in the area. We'll definitely keep you updated on the soon-to-come Rahway meetup. For now, please check out the financial independence meetup I have in Linden. It brings a nice size crowd and while its geared more towards personal finance, a decent amount of people are into real estate
Another Rahway newbie here... well sorta. I'm invested in a partnership and got my first SFH last year. I'd love to meet up with fellow investors if you could post the details. Thx
