Yale's Shiller on U.S. Housing, Economy

I would normally post this in the Bulletins section, but thought more people would like to hear what Robert Shiller said.

While no definitive direction yet, I think this supports that we have probably at or near the bottom for home prices.

Not to miller your thread but if anyone is looking for something intellectually stimulating this winter you can view online for free an entire semester of Professor Shiller's Yale Finance class. I don't have the link but it's easily found by Google.

The guy is brilliant and if you think about it you are getting like $7500 worth of education for free.

It speaks volumes when that interview might be considered to have a glimmer of hope. Its not pessimistic, but doesn't seem terrible optimistic to me. "If you're going to stay somewhere 10-15 years, you might buy a house".
