In Podio, I'm seeing that CRM and Marketing are two sets of apps. Has anyone found a combined app? I'm looking to track a lead from capture through to the sales cycle and automate marketing activity (emails, phone call reminders, etc.) What are your best picks?
I have been working with Podio and customizing it for my wholesaling business for about 1 year. You can definitely integrate and import emails and even phone calls into the CRM. The ability to customize the apps is one of the best features but you can also create external webforms that automatically the data upload to your CRM (without giving complete access to your crm/workspace).

I am looking for answers directly from users of polio. Not looking for plugs to different software I am already down a rabbit hole with podio. Thank you for taking the time to answer.

@Joseph Theriault I am interested in how people are using Podio also. I have dedicated considerable time into building/modifying apps but would love to see how others are using Podio.

I am about to embark on using Podio. I have also seen some good things about using Zoho. It seems like Podio takes quite a bit of time to get running. I would love to hear about what you are doing @Chris C.

@Joseph Theriault , I think you'll be best off just creating your own apps. Podio is very simple at its core, but the customizability and app to app links seem to make it very powerful.
I'm just starting to use it and was using someone else's apps, but find I'm completely changing them to fit what I want/need and what makes sense to me.

great post as I just started to use it( or I should say I downloaded it) as another investor friend showed me how it automated his entire business. I just haven't taken the time to learn it yet.

Let me know. I would like to get in on a call and I have a good grasp of Podio. Join.me is free and can have up to 10 people on the call. I learned how to add formulas to calculate the offers automatically today. Pretty cool! Maybe I can help?
For sure. I have barely even used podio. As I am just trying to go down the right path when I set this up. I will look into a conference call to get it started. Is there a time that works for you. @Chris C.
I have had a lot going on and slow to put this together.
I am actually pretty flexible today and the rest of the week. I am going to suggest today or tomorrow at 3PM. I can go earlier or later except between 5 and 6 as I am usually in the car.

Can your meeting software allow participants to share their screen. I see that being helpful in showing what we are each doing.

Ha I have none of. I am sorry for not getting back sooner. I honestly was putting in offers and viewing properties. I am slammed with leads right now. Hence why I need to get this up and running.

@Joseph Theriault I noticed you have a gmail account so you do have access to Hangouts which is a Google tool.
@Tim Herndon@Brett Russell I created a meeting in podio and included all 3 of you for today at 3. I hope it sends you an email. If not let me know.
If you can make it great if not we will try again later. Since we are all trying to learn more about Podio I guess it is appropriate to use Podio tools to do our meeting. We will figure it out together.

Sorry, I have had a lot of deals moving around this week. Going to try to put something together for next week. I think we will have better luck after business hours? I am thinking 6ish one evening. Any feedback appreciated.
