Selecting a Property Management Company Advice or Recommendations

Rick Hughes
Posted

I have a small (2 bed 1 bath- 1,00 Sq. ft) single family home in NW suburbs.  I am thinking about hiring a Property Manager, do you have any advice for me or any recommendations?

@Rick Hughes I always recommend people think through their plan for a piece of real estate when they are considering using a PM. For instance, is this a long term play for cash flow? Have you taken care of all the main systems in the home? Are there any looming CapEx events the PM may be walking into you can fix beforehand?

I would definitely connect with @Mark Ainley and @Shea Murray over at GC Realty. I don't know if they cover this area, but Mark runs a meetup for PM's in the area, so he would know the right company for you if they don't service that area.
