Accounting program for rentals

I have property managers to manage rents etc. I am looking for a program where I can put all my properties and personally follow the gain/loss, income, expenditures etc.  Quicken home/business looks great but they don’t have an Apple version.  Any suggestions are welcome.  Thanks.

    Very helpful to set up organized spreadsheets and monthly reminders.

     Check out Stessa. It's free and probably the best solution for what you are looking for.

    Click on the magnifying glass and type in accounting software. I was going to say this is asked monthly, but it’s more likely weekly. And lately it seems like it’s becoming daily. 

    Until you have more than 20 or 30 rentals quicken is overkill, it’s $50/yr to auto download all your bank and credit card transactions. It categorizes expenses by property and category. So you have a a report of what you spent per property or per expense category.

    Your best and likely most expensive option is Quickbooks. That is an accounting software that does a great job and is very easy to use. Depending on the version you get. It is around $35 a month. If you want something less expensive and less detailed, we use Innago as our PM software, and that does a great job as a basic P&L Overview. It is more challenging to track expenses in Innago as you must manually input costs as they incur. In comparison, Quickbooks is connected directly to your bank accounts and credit cards.

    Great thread here with a few suggestions good (Quickbooks, Stessa, Digb) and one surprise I've never heard of before - Notion. I think you'd need to be a guru.
