I’m considering hiring an attorney for a class action suit against the scammers from Launch Your Leads that take thousands of dollars and then you never hear from them. Their previous company Amplify My Business has the same horrible reviews and scam so they closed down and started the new scam called Launch Your Leads managed by Matt and Tom Mclleland. If anyone else here has been duped by these scammers, please reply.
He is currently providing direct attention to our issue of finding and closing deals. Tom has been very responsive to our concerns. We are starting from scratch on this business relationship and hopefully this will go as promised. I will keep you posted on any future developments.”
I wish it weren't so but, yes, this string is validating my experience and suspicions about LVL and Tom McLelland. I'm sorry for all who have lost money.
I agree that we move on and focus on recovering the lost money and not loose faith in ourselves or legitimate partners.
I'm still onboard if this tribe decides to file a class action suit. At this point, I want to save anyone else from experiencing the loss of money and loss of confidence in their ability to judge and trust 3rd parties.
Hi Tonya, thank you for informing us about such scams! I see it advertised all the time about how these companies are able to generate leads and allow you to sit in the driver seat while they do all the hard work. It is sad that no enforcement can even go after their fraudulent business practices.
My company signed up and paid $12,000 upfront plus months $1,500 advertising. This company completely falsified any work or outcomes. In 7 months, they have not produced ONE lead to close as guaranteed on their website (Launch Your Leads…LYL) A background was performed prior to signing up, but we had no idea they were doing previous fraudulent scams under another name called Amplify My Business . Google it on the BBB to read for yourself.
There were no leads that were promised. It was advertised as a “Done For You” complete system, not just leads emailed to my inbox. They advertised it as they do everything in the various markets. However, absolutely nothing they advertised and I paid for happened.
I am also a VIP member. 7 months no results. I have voiced several concerns with no responses. I asked for ad copy and accountability of all adds and money I spent, only to be ignored. I believe a large amount of our ad spend was spent to advertise the program. After voicing that I will be hiring an attorney and filing a compliant with the Utah Division of Consumer Protection all my ad spend was cut off without warning to make it look like I violating the agreement and I was also locked out of some areas CRM system. I am starting the legal process as we speak and depending how many more we can make this a class action law suit.

So sorry you all have been scammed by Launch your Leads. I have to. How can a class action be started against them. If they are making so much money why are they not being responsible to do what they say bi am shocked so many people involved in this but I am not alone. Makes me feel more powerful

Guess what guys…I have an update call scheduled with Tom this coming Tuesday. I wonder what lies he’s going to tell me this time. My questions is, if this is a scam why the fake updates and follow up calls???? It makes no sense.

Be careful they are swift talkers and money getters. The conversation will be about you putting out more money and when that stops they will too

This is like the episode of MASH where Klinger brings Colonel Blake a letter from his Mom saying his father is dying. Then Colonel Blake grabs a folder off his desk with all of the other fake letters Klinger gave him. Father dying/ Sister pregnant! ETC.
Yes indeed. We got robbed by a seemingly sweet old man just like Lloyd Christmas got robbed by the sweet old lady in the motor scooter in Dumb and Dumber. Never saw it coming.

I consider myself a savvy investor, wrote a ebook on foreclosures, sat down at lunch and looked Tom in the eyes, been to his home, analyzed the business, reviewed the technology and CRM, chatted with their closers and am unfortunately in the same boat as all of you. No return. Big promises, zero delivery and lots of cancelled meetings. I would love to have a conference call with all of those involved in the LYL scam. They both had good intentions and I have personally seen the inner workings of the business in attempting the "Done for you" model. Unfortunately, they can't deliver and their claim of $100k to $200k is worthless. It's almost like a little ponzi scheme. I think they pay the VA a little and pocket the rest waiting for the house of cards to fall. And Matt is in another country so pretty untouchable. I do have the Toms address I'm happy to share with you. If you are speaking to Tom about the LYL opportunity, run the other way. It is a failed business!

Hi Tonya, I appreciate your posting and very sorry you had the same experience as I did and others. I believe there are at least 10 people in the Biggerpockets community that has posted similar experiences as us. I'm on board with anyone else who wants to file a class action suit against Tom and Matt Lelland.
