Hi, hope everyone had a great holiday weekend.
I am out here in CO, I wanted to see what others thought and what different areas are like. What ways are you able to find investors? What ways you can expand your portfolio of investors? What do you think the best way is to find investors and put them in deals. I find this so interesting and want to learn more about it!

I am a new real estate investor and agent in the Colorado Springs area and the best thing I have done to grow my exposure to investors in the area has been to join as many meetup groups as possible! Real Estate Meetups, Bitcoin Meetups, House Hack Meetups, Financial Independence Meetups are all good places to start!
Put yourself in the mind of an investor, where would you be going to meet other investors who are like minded and looking to grow their portfolios? Follow the money by putting yourself in scenarios where you are sitting at the same table or mingling elbow to elbow with those who are looking to make their money work for them! Then just be yourself and the relationships will grow!

Hello Jacob! I would definitely second what Brian said. Meetups are one of the best ways to meet people. Additionally, scouring the forums on BP and responding to posts is a good way to meet people. I would also highly recommend Raising Private Capital by Matt Faircloth. It offers a lot of great advice on how to leverage your current network and how to expand your network. A lot of this is just talking about real estate. If you are genuinely excited about it and want to talk about it people will gravitate toward that. The last piece of advice I have is to always be improving yourself. If potential investors see that you are working hard, educating yourself, and improving your systems to be a better investor then they will want to be a part of what you are doing. I hope this helps!
