I own a single condo in Fairfax City. Just got a rental certificate of compliance applicaiton, $75. Sucks but was going to send it in. Then, they also want a business license ($30) -- but to get a business license you need another form...the only of which appears to make sense is to incorporate a company that will have the license. Am I reading this right? Do we need to incorporate in order to get business licenses in order to pay rental compliance fees in fairfax now??? Thank you

Hey Jonathan, did you ever get your answer? I have had pretty good luck getting help from Fairfax County's various tax and administrative departments, all via email. Maybe Fairfax City has equally good customer service.
