Good broker or company for landlord policy in CA?

We have had state farm for over 25 years on two duplexes.   Now they sent a Foremost bill for next year at 2.5x on last year.  I think the prevailing wisdom here was to find an independent broker.  We have always used the companies that we started with and dont know of how to weed out the brokers to find a good one.  Hoping someone has one that gets it.  Thanks in advance!

    @Rick Zinn

    I have a couple of brokers up here in Tahoe / Reno, NV, who also work in CA. They are good and can get creative. I'll send you a PM.
