I started off on the W2 track as a project manager and ascending through the corporate ladder from company to company, always looking for the next higher paying job. Then after reading Rich Dad Poor Dad, I came to the realization that the rat race is a 30–40-year journey which seems like an eternity. Why not take the leap and try for financial freedom in the next 10 years? Worst case, I can just go back to the workforce and take the traditional retirement path to 65. After that epiphany, I was determined to take action. I obtained a home line of credit (HELOC) on my one-bedroom condo in Boston and bought 8 deals over the course of 2 years; I purchased four 3 families, one 5 unit, two 6 units, and joined 2 apartment building syndications as a limited partner, one in Lowell MA and the other in Phoenix AZ. I also syndicated a 65 unit portfolio in New Bedford MA as a GP. I currently own and operate over 500 rental units. I obtained a majority of my units through househacking, syndicating and accessing liquidity through lines of credit. As an agent, my team specializes in multifamily properties in and around Worcester. We have helped a multitude of buyers obtain their first househack and start their real estate investing journey or scale their current portfolio. Our expertise lies in creative financing, house-hacking, multifamily investing, and self-management. We have a passion for teaching others about the power of real estate investing and financial literacy. My ultimate goal is to travel the world and help thousands of others achieve financial freedom through real estate investing.

“I was specifically looking for an agent who was an experienced investor himself and Andrew definitely fits that description.”

Questions investors in Worcester ask

Local answers only. The general ones (what investor-friendly means, what it costs, how vetting works) are on the main finder page.

What do Worcester agents specialize in?

The 7 agents listed here specialize in fix & flip, land, long-term rental, mobile home parks, multi-family (2-4 units), multi-family (5+ units), new construction, office/retail, primary residence, self-storage, short-term rental, single-family rental, and townhouse/condo.

Do these agents cover Leominster, Fitchburg, and Gardner too?

Yes. Between them, the agents listed here also serve Leominster, Fitchburg, Gardner, Lunenburg, Ashburnham, Athol, Ayer, Boxborough, Clinton, Holden, Hudson, Lancaster, Milford, Paxton, Rutland, Shirley, Southbridge, Templeton, Webster, West Boylston, Westminster, Winchendon, Acton, Amherst, Auburn, Barre, Berlin, Billerica, Bolton, Boylston, Brookline, Concord, Devens, Grafton, Greenfield, Greenville, Groton, Hardwick, Harvard, Hollis, Hubbardston, Leicester, Manchester, Marlborough, Mason, Maynard, Millbury, Nashua, New Bedford, New Braintree, Northborough, Northbridge, Oakham, Oxford, Pepperell, Petersham, Phillipston, Princeton, Royalston, Shrewsbury, Spencer, Sterling, Stow, Townsend, and Westborough. If your search is really greater Worcester rather than the city itself, start with the agent whose reviews mention the town you are buying in.

How should I choose between them?

Read the investor reviews first, then the agent's own forum posts, which show how they think about a deal before you have spent an hour on the phone. Ask each for the last three investment deals they closed in Worcester County and how those deals performed. An agent who works with investors will have the numbers ready.

What is an investor-friendly real estate agent?

An investor-friendly real estate agent represents buyers who purchase property to rent, renovate, or resell rather than to live in. They can price a property against rent comps and renovation costs, not just against nearby sales, and they are used to offers written for speed and inspection terms an owner-occupant would not accept. Many are investors themselves.
