Writing Down your Goals & Working with Focus Groups

First off, I would like to give thanks to Josh Dorkin and the BP community!  Through the BP forums, I recently signed up to be part of a small focus group to help each other identify goals, and reach them!   I'm no stranger to writing down goals, but I've found that this focus group has really taken it up a notch in regards to focus and accomplishments since conception.  I don't know what it is exactly that makes it work.  Maybe just knowing that others are waiting to hear updates that helps to motivate action.   To my focus group friends, thank you!  I really wish I could have met you at the Summit.  I'm anxious to hear how things are going and look forward to updates in the near future ;-) (you know who you are) I'll be the first to admit that it is hard to get every goal we set finished on schedule!  Sometimes life just keeps happening and the list does not seem to get shorter.  Writing them down is the first step.  Don't be scared to fail, because with a little luck, you just might succeed.
I'm using this post to check off one of the 30 day goals I set myself through the focus group.  Namely, to write three posts on the BP Blog, so I hope if you're reading, you've enjoyed them!  I know I have enjoyed writing them, and I look forward to leaving you with something memorable in this post.

  1. Yes, it is now time to work on second quarter goals. The first quarter flew by! We missed you in Denver, Mark, but know you will have renewed goals set by next week.

  2. Great article. Coming to the end of the 1st quarter, we need to review and tweak what's working & what is not.
