How to get featured on this page
Featured Blog Posts
The BiggerPockets Member Blogs is an incredible platform designed to allow our users to easily share stories, lessons, tips, and advice to the BiggerPockets Community. Anyone can start a Member Blog, but if you want your post to be featured on this homepage (and have a chance to be featured in the twice-weekly BiggerPockets newsletter), you'll need to follow a few simple guidelines:
- Keep Your Post Non-Promotional. The Member Blog area is not designed to promote your business or deals. If you want to be featured - provide value.
- No Internal Links. This goes along with number one. If you include "SEO-links" to your site within your post, you probably won't be featured. The BiggerPockets Member Blogs is not a link farm.
- Don't Be Hyperlocal. Remember, the BiggerPockets Audience is a national audience. You are more than welcome to post local information, but it probably won't be featured on the front page. We want to ensure the front page contains wisdom for the masses.
- Fill in your profile and make sure you have a personal profile pic set up.
To sum up: If you want to be featured, provide incredible content without shameless self promotion.
Thanks, and we look forward to reading your next member blog post!
