Finishing College and Moving into Financial Independence

Hey Guys,

I have only been listening for a few weeks but am really excited about participating in this community. My name is Matt and I am about to graduate ASU with very little idea of what I want to do after I graduate. I have always loved working with my hands and I am looking to gain financial independence by byielding my assests, and real estate renting seems like an awesome environment to do both. However, because I am so new to this, I know I have world's of information to learn, and would love to learn any starting off information people are willing to share!

Hey Matt! I also just finished college and I'm at basically at the same spot as you. What did you study? Perhaps you can leverage that to help gain a foothold in the industry? Otherwise, having a stable job (9-5) while networking and marketing can help you gain knowledge, contacts, and a traditional 30year loan down the line when you're ready to go. Having a specific plan and being aware of your strengths and limitations is probably the best first place to start, and then it's off to the races!
