Is there any demand for large home rentals (3,700 sf) in Spartanburg SC? I am selling a home in Spartanburg but am rethinking the idea, but not sure if there is a market for higher end homes in Spartanburg.

@Troy Fallon If you are using an agent for the sale, I would ask them to pull rental comps and evaluate the demand for a home of that size in your area, as well as estimate the likely rental rate. Your agent could also simultaneously market the property for sale and for rent, allowing you to see which option generates the stronger interest.

not sure if you figured this one out already or not, but would be curious what route you went? I'm not familiar with the market but the decision will likely come down to how involved you would like to be also. And the Tax free income on the primary is a nice benefit to selling. curious how you ended up going if you have made a choice.
