We had earthquake insurance when we first built 48 townhomes in Utah. It was just so much money, so we ended that plan. We are now rethinking that and want to look into some good options for earthquake insurance. Hoping someone here would have some good input on who is best for multi-family earthquake insurance. Any options, and why? Thank you.
Hi Todd, I have not seen anyone buying earthquake insurance even in California where it's more prevalent than Utah. I just think, it's not worth given the probability. I have it for my personal residence, but it's prohibitively expensive for multiple multifamily I own in CA.
