Thanks, Kenneth. I'm just wondering—doesn't Furnished Finder simply connect guests and hosts? I'm afraid I'd be too busy dealing with everything else on my own.

@Mike Park
You are correct. Furnished Finder is a lead generator site. It connects you with potential tenants. MTR takes less work than STR, but more than LTR. You can find property managers or a cohost to help you with managing your property, but the cost will eat into your profits. If you are a hands off investor then a PM or Cohost would be your best choice. I lean more for a Cohost as you just need help versus a PM.

Hey Mike, which market are you in? Have you tried Furnished Finders and Facebook Marketplace in addition to what you're doing now? I've heard good things about both but totally depends on the city
thinking to shift from airbnb to another, but not sure which one is good.
@Mike Park If you're moving from Airbnb to medium-term rentals, I'd compare more than just the listing platform. Think about who your target tenant is—traveling professionals, nurses, corporate housing, or insurance placements—and choose the platform that best matches that audience. The quality of the tenant pipeline often matters more than the site itself.
I'm going to get listed on Airbnb, but I also use Furnished Finders, Zillow and FB Marketplace. FF, marketplace and Zillow all have their pros and cons. In my mind, I can see Airbnb being a good route, but at this point it's only speculation. I've had moderate success with FF. Haven't received a ton of leads, but I've gotten a few.

From working with rental property owners, I’ve seen that the platform is only one part of the decision. If your biggest concern is how much time the property will take, I would figure out the management side first. Moving from Airbnb to Furnished Finder may change where the tenant comes from, but it does not remove the screening, lease, maintenance, utilities, cleaning, and tenant communication that still have to happen.
If you want this to be more hands-off, I would compare the cost of a cohost or property manager against what you expect to make from the MTR. Then choose the listing channels around that setup. That way you are not moving to a new platform and finding out later that you still created another job for yourself.
I’d be glad to stay connected, Mike. I always enjoy hearing how other owners adjust their rental strategy when the original setup stops fitting what they want from the property.
