I was recommended by my realtor to use Avalon capital as hard money lender in Memphis area for BRRRR. Has anyone used them before? How has your experience been?

I've used them on a few deals. Easy to work with and I like their process

I never used them but have worked with properties within Memphis via wholesale. I suggest to see if they have any recent social proof. From reviewing there website, they seem worth reviewing a bit further. Maybe actually review your scenario over the phone with one of their Capital Experts.

@Anirudh Reddy I have never heard of them. I would recommend checking out Wildcat Lending and see if they lend in Tennessee. A lot of my clients use them for hard money and I personally am using them for a BRRRR I am doing.

Treat any single realtor-referred hard-money shop as one quote, not the plan — for a Memphis BRRRR ask for points, interest, LTC/ARV caps, draw schedule, and whether they'll still fund if the rehab overruns. In parallel, line up what the takeout looks like (DSCR/cash-out once rented) so you're not stuck on expensive bridge money. Memphis has a few active private desks; compare at least two term sheets on the same purchase/rehab numbers before you waive financing contingencies.
