Getting Started w/Turnkey Real-Estate

Hi Team: My wife and I Closed on our first RTR property on Friday, 10/23/26. We did our homework in looking at multiple avenues for diversifying our investment portfolio.
Our Primary Requirements were:
A) Must be a landlord friendly state.
B) Must be a Turnkey solution, whereby we do NOT interface with the renters.
C) Must Cashflow $500/mo.+ the first year.
D) Staff willing to be patient w/us as we learn.
We can unequivocally state that RTR fulfilled all of these requirements and more.

We started our research 2 years ago, whereby RTR provided lots of Great information, and some advice, that I really did not want to hear.
The Advice was: "You're not quite ready yet. Spend 2-years making some adjustments to your portfolio, and then come back."
We made those changes and engaged in some investment activities that now allow me to predict within the next 5-years, when I will pay-off the debt portion of this investment.
Zach, Melissa, and many others on the RTR team have provided priceless information and advice. They will stick with you every step of the way.
We can't wait to pay this one off and buy the next.

@John Marley Thanks so much for sharing your experience. Congrats on the recent investment and excellent job putting all the pieces in place to make and investment 2 years after starting your journey. Most people would have gotten distracted or given up by then, but you stayed committed to accomplishing your goal. That is exactly what you need to be successful long term!

    Hi @John Marley

May I ask why you felt the need to join this forum and post a review? We see many people writing about their experiences when they have been active investors for a couple of days.

While I am in no way calling you or your review bogus, there's quite a lot of schills and half truths told here when people promote companies they have been customers of for days and barely know. Many of these people hyping the same companies get referral bonuses and other forms of compensation from the companies they speak so highly of, which to me is a significant conflict of interest. Add in other people who will hype the same post who are also on the take, but never disclosing this without direct questions about it.

Hi Ed: So, if you note @Zach Lemaster 's post above, I have been studying and researching RTR for 2 years, and they have provided valuable feedback, that was not beneficial to them or myself in the Short Run. Now then, here we are 2+ years later and we are much better prepared for REI because of them.
I guess you could say, we developed a relationship that benefits us both in the Long Run.
I've always believed in building the relationship first, and the business will take care of itself.
That's why they were worth the effort to join this site and post.
      Thanks
