I started my real estate career as a Real estate wholesaler then now pursing self storage and spec infill homes just saying from experience dealing with seeing properties dealing with realtors at open houses, etc they will see my car they will see how I dress, my mother gave me a base model Corolla Toyota I just had feeling especially Socal market those realtors judged me as not having funds being a beginner etc me not being serious and questioned my liquidity and wanted to see POF they did not take me serious etc , but I upgraded to BMW Benz nicer clothes nice watch it really changed the way I was perceived in this industry. My stance is I really think long term if your gonna be a RE investors/ business owner I think having a nice car like at a minimum BMW m5, Mercedes G63 AMG g wagon Porsche panamera cayenne 911 Carrera at a minimum if your really successful scaled drive around in one or own few rides such as urus lambo, or rolls ghost, cullianan, Bentley Bentyga SUV or if you really like cars like me get a McLaren 720s or lambo Ruvelto or Ferrari 296 , porasaongue SUV showing up to networking events is really a conversation starter a baseline to network with other high net worth individuals and access to exclusive networking clubs, also I think having a nice watch is a secret hand shake in business as well can it help open more networking opportunities as well go to networking events people notice it shows your liquidity at min like Rolex be nice but if you like watches like me want something more niche more horology get AP royal oak, Patek natilus, RM if your really like racing watches, some of these watches and cars can go up not all but some limited production high demand can make it a good investment plus these items get folks into special clubs that cant get in with normal car. not to mention tax write off on big luxury SUV Rolls Royce cullinan, bentyga, G63 AMG, etc. People will respect you more and you get to enjoy quality things I mean you work hard for what flipping houses or owning business like hotels, restaurant etc whatever got to treat your self plus treat your wife if your married buy her a nice Hermes bag Kelly or birken those can be $10k plus but hold value and show your liquid enough business doing well I can buy my wife a nice bag, etc.

I always got taught everything nice want it I go to earn it, idk if your a parent or teen my mom and father gave me NO Playstion no Xbox no iPhone Mac iPod back in the day nothing, no car my mom bought me a car and when she divorced my dad even then was a base toyota Camry my sis and I shared with hub caps on it much later after HS like later then other kids in my school, other kids in my high school parents gave them BMW 3 series m3 benzes audis Porsche , lv Gucci stuff all had iphones and mac's like at a minimum I ain't got no iPhone everyone in my HS had iPhone, my dad offered me $300 go get my Walmart refurbished go phone my dad told me to take a bus and all he provided was shelter, free education and food water that's it nothing else to me, my dad bought me and my sis a Nintendo Wii ds for each of us so yeah I went with my mom for PS3 back then $600 I asked my mom for $600 for ps3 so I could be like the other kids I got told no and even Christmas I asked for it I got told no, in HS I got no friends I am 25 yrs old as of written I got no GF not once I ever dated I was busy hustling in HS while other kids pull out to grab lunch I went sat by myself ate lunch called the PC supplier placed my order so after school I walked home to my single mother apartment we downgraded from a really nice house after divorce I walked home drop off my school belonging so I could uber pick up the computers Uber back home test them put them up for sale and push them on a wagon near Starbucks plus I did other ventures stuff such as bird dogging leads to a exotic car dealer watch stores end up did fsbo to realtor that turnned into re wholesaling dabled in eccomerce stocks etc. I sacrificed alot I was a true hustler, I wanted to be cool kid in high school nice things have GF etc being popular but I was none of those, so after my very first wholesale RE deal I spent all $10k on LV Gucci givenchy Balenciaga designer goods at south coast plaza mall blew every penny another big check came in bought a BMW m5 with it all did this living in my moms house trying to make up for my HS stuff but either way I sold all of this for a loss wholesaling not doing good now so pivot to self storage and Spec home building bigger money bigger better toys.
