Hey everyone! 馃憢 I鈥檓 new to the Indianapolis area and looking to connect with local real estate investors and fix-and-flippers. I work full-time but would love to help on my days off or weekends. I鈥檒l swing a hammer, sweep floors, or buy you a coffee just to learn!
Not looking for money or handouts, just an opportunity to serve, learn, and build relationships. Looking forward to connecting!
Welcome to Indy, Alex! Every neighborhood here is different, sometimes block by block, so walk or drive any area before you buy and talk to a few local landlords about what tenants there actually want. The north side suburbs (Carmel, Fishers, Westfield) tend to bring steadier tenants and lower turnover, and some of the closer-in Indy neighborhoods can pencil better on cash flow. I'm Josh, owner of Hoosier Homes Management here locally. Happy to share what we're seeing on rents and leasing if it helps, so feel free to message me.
@Alex Damian , let's connect. Giving your weekends to real projects will teach you more than reading about it. Being on a job site for a while will also tell you pretty fast whether hands on work like that is something you want for yourself or just something you want to understand. While you're getting settled, there are good people I'd like you to meet. Did you move to Indy for work?
