Concerns & Answers  I recognize the NAR data is slightly old, but it clearly shows most communities the ADUs the properties do not appreciate more with an ADU.I am not a fed study skeptic, but if it comes down to believing data from a government that is pushing ADUs or believing the NAR data, I know which I would choose.in addition, search BP for comments regarding ADU appraisals.

If so, then the lender wil require you to insure at replacement cost - which if less than loan amount may go as low as loan amount BUT recognize in those instances, lets say its replacement value is $250,000 and you insure it for $125,000.
