I've never had a contractor tell me the home has to be inserted first, but maybe that is just their way of seeing if your serious (i.e., if you're not willing to pay for a home inspection then they might assume you're not serious about the home, and therefore they may not invest their time doing a walk through with you).Its definitely harder to get estimates/opinions from contractors without having a relationship with them first, and its hard to develop that relationship without doing business with them.

We were going to put in an electric insert to keep a tenant from actually burning a fire in it, but after checking with two retailers, it seems that no one makes an electric insert that will fit.Any ideas on how to handle the fireplace with a new tenant?

Essentially think that your child/niece/nephew/cousins kid/friends childs landlord said "(insert name) is not paying their rent, I need your help to keep them above board and going right"You said "I will help and keep them on the right path, I will make sure you get paid and things are taken care of, thank you and I am on it I will guarantee payment is handled"Then they said "I don't want them as a tenant and just want them gone"......

I got a package of lunch bags, opened 4-5 and inserted a sheet of lightly crumpled newspaper in each, squeezed the openings and tied them closed with a long string, and hung the bulbous bags in the areas the wasps were planning to build.

There are charity organizations that you may be able to apply to in order to get assistance on rent, and we would be happy to accept rent from such an organization (insert charity names and contact info if you know of any, in my area there are several grant programs that help single women specifically).
