@Rob Schwartz,In my opinion, keeping a human in the loop for at least part of the process is still a good practice.I’d be comfortable relying on software for background checks, credit checks, or even income verification, but I’d still want to manually call references (e.g. past roommates and landlords) and show the property (which gives me a chance to interact with the applicant face-to-face) before offering a lease.
