We've been buying houses from various auction sources for years now and while I don't consider myself an expert because the majority of our houses come from wholesalers, we do occasionally buy from various auctions sites. 

Experience (figuring out how to survive the inevitable punches to the face that come with REI) trumps theory, books, podcasts, gurus, mentors, etc.There's no shortage of self-proclaimed REI "experts" who will charge you for "mentorship", who can talk all day long about RE analysis, planning, theory, strategy, etc....but ask them: "have you ever sawed open a sewer main?"

I fund investors looking to develop ( mainly SFR developments)  have 3 going just out of WA DC  Toll just closed us out of one last weekthe other two  Toll is buying one and Lennar the other 150 parcel deals each.Would be willing to look at other areas as long as the team is made up of experts like yourself.
