Could be anything —• A screening question you added• A maintenance workflow that saved you headaches• A tool/software feature you discovered• Something you implemented with tenants that reduced calls• Or even just something simple that improved your sanity 😅I’ll start: For me, adding a required “hold fee” for out-of-state applicants dramatically cut down on last-minute drop-offs.

This means landlords cannot use lack of legal status alone as a reason to deny housing.As for your questions:Rent collection – If the tenant is paying rent consistently and can verify income, the lack of a Social Security Number does not prevent them from fulfilling that obligation.Eviction – Eviction is based on lease violations or non-payment, not immigration status.

Hey there @Satya Surendra - I recently switched to a property management company for two of my South Side Chicago properties and I honestly feel your pain......but I believe the right property manager can save you money in the long run with the right preventive maintenance and tenant screening.I had to go through a cash for key situation and it took 6 months of to finally get a new tenant....I think that would have been avoided had I had the property manager at the time because I wasn't giving the property the attention it needed.If you have the time and bandwidth I suggest self managing
