Just like his webinars preach - you need to practice looking at 100s of properties and running 100s of calculator simulations.

Tab 3 contains a regular 100k loan with monthly overpayments in the amount of $19.81 per month to simulate what would happen if you made an overpayment in the amount that your heloc costs you each month.

They have really great looking simulated granite available for Formica now and it is cheap.Granite can be stained if it is not sealed regularly.

Credit Karma hasn't done a great job of tracking my actual credit score, but it does have a neat credit score "simulator" that lets you see what different actions would take on your credit score (e.g. taking out a credit card or closing a cc.)

Credit Karma has a fantastic "score simulator" tool that you can use to project credit score changes (paying off balances, opening a new card, using an old card that has not been used in some time, just paying your bills on time for 6 or 12 months).

My conclusion is that the Vertex42 spreadsheet is just fine and it was very easy to simulate the situation.
