A far more important reason for me to sleep in my truck is that I recognize the pattern of shooting myself in the foot when things are going well for me.

There is a lot to be said for the stability of our market, or slower but steady pattern of growth here, especially if the investment property is being used for retirement income or if the stability of the investment income is important.
