I cannot attest to its longevity but it is advertised as waterproof (although extra steps are needed at the perimeter if installed in bathroom/kitchen where water could be a problem).

If it is for a rental unit, then cost and longevity are the two factors I would be looking at.

One spouse just got laid off and received a large longevity payment as part of the lay off.

It pays to use laminate for longevity.

You can even go diamond pattern to the linear strip then square the rest of the way just to mix it up from bathroom to bathroom.Ultimately you should go with what a majority of yoyrvtenants will like the best and whatbis the most cost effective (which equates to cost per tile vs the longevity of the tile).

The relationships allow me to have longevity in what I am doing so I can call on them a month, a year, or even a decade from now. 

@Tim Siocheng - I'd consider that promise from the seller's contractor about the longevity of the roof to be completely worthless.

@Chris Bruneau,  A paid off asset, full depreciated with significant gain, owned by folks wanting to exit the landlord business- this is the perfect property to 1031 into a passive commercial asset where the value is the lease and longevity in decades. 

It doesn't matter how disconnected your command is from a prospective tenant or client.You never know when one Saturday you're the NCOIC/OIC over some group at an airshow and low and behold....IG investigation.The military and their families are a great investment opportunity due to the consistency and longevity of their demand.
