She has a severance package and is very close to retirement so she's worried about the mortgage.

There is an old farmhouse built in 1929 sitting on about 2.5 acres at the front of the property, I'm in the process of securing a loan to renovate it for use as a STR.

I'm not entirely sure about the security of it yet, but the idea of having a trained tool that can act almost like a VA within certain parameters is really exciting.For me personally, I've been able to create tools that really reduce the amount of back and forth I was previously doing to track internal metrics, and reduce the need for spreadsheets, etc.

Recording the documents is what legally secures your position against the property.

Using margin loans against appreciating securities to fund RE acquisitions and then reinvesting the cash flow is clever.
