The house is in the probate process and the probate judge just released the house to be sold.The house was built in 1972 and has not had any major upgrades since it was built and there is a plumbing issue going on.

Just be aware that if you execute an owner financing deal, you will have to go through an expensive foreclosure process to regain control of the property.

If you really don't want to live in the house hack, I think that it's more likely that you could take ownership of a small multi-family property by securing owner financing and avoiding the FHA loan process completely.
