It's in the path of progress and has room to build 15-20 houses, holding for appreciation and pretending to be a farmer sometimes.I have under contract a 3-2 house in a cheap market, the inspection brought to my attention additional problems and I'm trying to renegotiate it for 6 grand less (heat pump and electrical issues).

Detroit neighborhoods are making progress - but with that, it means displacement.

Last year (in a flip) we had professionally installed vinyl flooring glued to a perfectly good subfloor & because of a very hot humid summer it was a peeling/lifting in spots nightmare.Definitely not something I would be prepared to experiment with but would be interested in following your progress. 

It seems that the further north you go, the more sketchy the area is, but it seems like the area closest to Rockwater would be in the path of progress?
