Insurance non renewal
I have a small motel, 14 units , and have never had a claim. This building was built in 1955. Just under 6000 sq ft. Building is cement block and everything is decent. Farmers Insurance pulled out of the hospitality insurance market this year. The Farmers agent has been looking for a different policy but nothing yet.
I called the previous insurance company which is an independent agency and they haven't found a policy yet. They have been looking for about 45 days.
Should I be considering using an online insurance agency. I have used Progressive for my home and autos online with good results.

I am in Minnesota and have a small 16 unit have had the the same problem the insurance Industry. American Family pulled out of that Market and Auto Owners did not pull out they just doubled the premium. Find a Broker that can shop the industry.We are with Wadena IMT out of Iowa now.
