I recommend something like this because there is not a motor to turn the deadbolt, which means the batteries last longer. 

The smoke detectors in the house are battery only detectors(no 120 volt outlet) and Oregon law requires battery only detectors to have a 10 year rated battery.

Which excludes the non-electric F150.Batteries are heavy, hence electrics are easy to qualify by weight (need a TeslaX?  

I had an extreme charge for replacing a battery in my fire alarm (tenant complained the alarm was going off and not sure why they didnt just tell the tenant to change the battery as I had done it myself before...) so they said they were going to send someone to resolve.

I'm currently using deadbolts and Arlo battery charged cameras.

If you rush it or try to go 0-60 in 3 seconds, your battery will die.

Changing air filters, batteries in smoke detectors and so on are a tough task for many tenants.

Just my opinion based on having dealt with dozens of them.Your lease should include a list of common maintenance issues that a renter is responsible for: changing light bulbs, resetting breakers, plunging a toilet, testing smoke detectors and changing batteries, etc.

But they still make the decision, my mechanic can tell me all day what's wrong with the cpl idller modulation thing-a-ma-bobby but I have no clue what the hell that even means, more or less am in a position to know if hes correct or full of BS.
