If after a week you have no attention, drop to your next number and test it out again. 

I filter out the noise by ignoring the news and social media and by doing what has always worked (my buy and hold and the metrics I use to distinguish a good deal).I can understand why a new investor would be overwhelmed during this time. 

It was 2.54% for me 2 months ago, and has probably dropped some more since.

Make sure your lender will allow you to drop the PMI with an appraisal and that they will not require a refi to eliminate it. 

The second is really solid blue-chip type investments and AAA-rated bonds, etc. stuff that unlikely to drop 50% in a stock market downturn.

Should i drop in some cash to get rid of the PMI as well or just keep my powder dry?

There has been no drop in demand from our perspective. 

Or should I keep renting and wait for the actual house prices to drop?
