What is a strategy I could implement in between house hacking that would be effective to either obtain properties or generate capital to purchase more real estate in your opinion.

Since transitioning to this new management company they automated the process of collecting rent, streamlining the process of bookkeeping but the ground is poorly maintained and an uptick of maintenance calls.

If you are going to go AirBNB as the only escape plan, I recommend investing in a place where there are already short-term rental regulations in place, as it is less likely for them to implement more on top of the existing regs.

Still only about 3 months into the deal but so far I was able to raise rents, implement RUBS and turned 2 vacant units and added which added $3,830 to gross collections in 3 months.
