What are the best programmable keyless locks for your STR properties ? And why?

I use Schlage Encode WiFi locks. It will run you around $250.00, easy to install but different to find. Be prepared to shop around whether it’s online or your local Home Depot/Lowe’s

I like the August lock. As soon i as approve a guest on Air BNB they get an email with pin for the duration of their trip (completely automated). The app is great. i also have a permanent code set up for my housekeeper. Looks and works great so far. Just have a back up master key on property as August works with WIFI and if it is down might cause a problem with the august lock.

I use Schlage and set it to the guest's ph# when I am done cleaning. They have the models that you can set remotely also, I may get one of those next time around....

We also use Schlage Encode. Works great, programs remotely and no issues. Also ties into RemoteLock if you go that path. Agree that they've been hard to find, so we've grabbed a few as we see them even if we don't have a property yet.
