it is your property; they vetted the tenant (you said so yourself) i.e. background check and even so, that doesn't guarantee nothing bad is not going to happen, they werent the ones that caused the damage, and if they vetted the tenant as you say they did, they did their part.

To get the most out of this experience, do anyone of you have any insight on which speakers to make sure to attend, things they would do differently has far as scheduling, etc.I also noticed workshops were schedule on the first day (Oct 5th) Is it just registration and workshops that day?

A couple of other things I’ve found valuable to look at are:Track record through cycles (how they’ve managed deals in both good and bad markets).Transparency and reporting (how proactive they are with communication, especially when things aren’t going perfectly).Alignment of interests (skin in the game, fee structure, co-investment).In my experience, those have been big predictors of how well a sponsor actually delivers in the long run.
