I want to be there in the morning to observe work patterns and daily routines, spend time in a local café or coffee shop to see who actually lives and lingers there, and be present after work to understand how the area transitions in the evening.

But you do have the authority to make BOTH employEE AND employER contributions to the SOLO 401K since you are both the employEE and employER. 

When those answers don’t match, tension shows up later.I also push them to be very honest about what each person is contributing.

This is over 4 years but would love to still contribute.

Contributing the $22k/year starting at 23 is challenging and my 23 year son is contributing less than $10k to his Roth.
