We have expressed our interests in buying the home to keep it in the family, so the parents and siblings agreed to a selling price of 550K. 550K minus our share of 160K (gift of equity) as our down payment  would bring our required loan amount of 390K to pay off the parents and two siblings’ shares.Our initial thought is that this is a great deal, but with little experience we are not sure it’s the best strategy to invest our money.

Their communication with me has been terrible for the last 2 years now - they will ignore my texts for more than a week at at time (and I usually contact my PMs if I their is a problem I do not bother them when they are doing their job).I've expressed my displeasure with the PMs performance with the co owner multiple times and clearly stated that I did not want to continue to do business with them because of their lack of communication and failure to screen tenants properly.
