But underneath it, there’s this whole ecosystem built around monetizing the illusion of value instead of value itself.It’s all middlemen selling the map to the goldmine... there is no gold. 

It gives people a reason to stay exactly where they are… or worse, it gives negative personalities the illusion they’re “helping” by spreading doubt.

IF you think your cash flow is better when you buy all cash just because you have no mortgage payment, you're living an illusion. 

We have a single LLC with no illusion that it cannot be pierced by a good attorney.  

In regards to the two items you noted:1) The unilateral decisions referenced was an open question for a member of the community hopefully with a legal background to opine because I said I did not have one. 2) The comment regarding "closer to a ponzi scheme" is in reference to the practice of claiming positive financial leverage on loans that have an interest rate falsely giving the illusion of positive leverage because interest has been prepaid either through a buydown or a lower than market interest rate cap.

Dang…so much for DSTs being “safe” investments almost by default/shattered that illusion…

The illusion of more success and ego pumping to do more than the next syndicator can often be a downfall to some.I hope all of Brandon's deals including this one do well for him and his investors.

If you need to pay 50% down to make the percentages work at the end, then you are living in an illusion of positive CF.
