My scenario is no where near as funny as yours, but I've spent some time going over it and I've tried to at least make it interesting.

I looked at a few LP opportunities in this space a few years back and spent time trying to understand the asset class more deeply.

So you don't elmininate the maintenance, you've spent a bunch of money, your building is still no Taj Mahal (or worth any dollar more) - not a good ROII have made all those mistakes, sharing so you don't have to.Fair enough and appreciate you trying to share those mistakes.
