I have first property it was long term but I decided to rent it by room to have better return I have students renting but I have a private and shared room open how do I find students?

My partner and I are in the final stages of underwriting an off-market, 100% occupied, 29-unit student housing portfolio near Iowa State University.

I really want to combine both professions.

The real estate market will still be here after nursing school, which will certainly lead to a bulletproof profession.  

First, let me say that real estate sales is a great profession with unlimited earning potential and you have the ability to create your own "pension" with contractual recurring income with rents with your own properties or supplement your income with rehab projects on your own fix-and-flip properties. 

Looking for advice on marketing the property to either students + parents for long term renting, or to travel nurses, etc. for medium term.

I originally wanted to focus on student housing around large universities, specifically for upper classmen such as those seeking doctorates. 

While in college at the University of South Carolina, I was working with a development group that specializes in building student housing and short-term rental properties in the Columbia area.

The thought of leaving without my husband and daughter (20, college student) really kills me, but I need to do something to generate a steady cash flow and Massachusetts just isn't it.
