Hi Cole,

Probably the two most important things you can do starting out are teaming up with a great mentor and the second is networking.

Cole Lundeen I see this is your first posts welcome to Bigger Pockets.

Phillip Dwyer is right on, networking is key. If you are networking with landlords eventually property managers will come up. You will find that almost universally landlords feel Property Managers do not do a very good job. IF you become a property manager and do a good job. Finding business will be easy. good luck - ned

Hey Cole Lundeen. When I was looking for my property management company, I asked these questions:

If you decide to get into the PM business, these might be some good questions to ask yourself as a sort of "self-evaluation" to help determine what your core competencies are.
