My real estate website is doing nothing for me. I wanted to try something different. I discovered "Interactive Real Estate Investor Websites." It seems like a very valuable tool. Has anyone ever tried it? Thanks yall!

Your NUMBER ONE goal is for people to fill out your lead form, so the most important thing on your website needs to be that form. Before you go and subscribe to some service, you've already got a functional site. Use what you've got. Get someone to help you move that lead form to above the fold (the area that you see without scrolling) and make sure it stands out.
Then, cater the language to draw people in based on your needs. Essentially, you create a lead funnel that captures people.
If your most important thing is hidden at the bottom of the page, you're going to lose a LOT of people.
If you don't have a designer, jump on a place like ODesk and bid out the job.
Just my recommendation.
Of course, I know nothing about these guys and they could be great, so you need to weigh the service vs. time/money components.
On another angle, if you're looking for someone to do the work for you, including helping you build out your lead funnel, SEO, etc., let me know. I've got a few companies/people I know very well who do this for a living. They aren't cheap, but could likely be valuable in your business. Shoot me a PM if that's something you're looking for.

What is your goal in having a website?
I have never heard of it either...can you explain what it is and what you find to be valuable?
Joshua, I am trying to do wholesaling to start. And anything else later. I have several websites with a goal of 1. Finding motivated sellers. 2. locating buyers, and 3. Locating investors.
The first thing I like is that it is interactive.

Thank you very much Joshua, I REALLY appreciate your feedback. I did my website myself using sitebuilder and then added an aweber form to it. My funds are very limited so I am trying to make it happen until I can MAKE IT HAPPEN and reinvest into my business.

What keywords is your website targeting? I ran a search on "we buy houses maryland," and couldn't find you. It sounds like you're pretty new to internet marketing, and you have budget constraints.
That being said, you can still dominate your local market, you will just have to either 1)Use a firm to handle your SEO 2)Do it yourself.
If you're going the DIY route, there are a number of factors you need to consider, but here is the #1 factor that most people miss when building a website:
-What keywords are my target audience searching online for?
People go to Google for 3 things: information, location or transaction. You want to find people who are most likely to sell their house to you ASAP, right? So if you were looking to sell a house in Maryland fast, what keywords would you type into Google?

I just watched the Interactive website video. When I googled the same I found your discussion here in Bigger Pockets. Now that it is 2 1/2 yrs later, I am wondering if you ever signed up with them. It sounds good to me. I am just getting started in wholesaling. I have a website with Vista Print now; but of course it wasn't designed for R.E. Investors.

Hello, I have had experience with this company first hand. DON'T USE THEM! Look at their BBB rating. It is F at this time. They have a money back guarantee which they did not honor. There are many other awesome vendors here on BP. Do your research and I'm sure you'll find a great vendor.
I found this Service for Investor Websites that looks too good to be true, $295 for FOUR websites (Buy, Sell, Wholesale, Private Investor) and only $65 per year hosting fee, which looks to have all the bells and whistles, videos, back office, auto responders, squeeze pages, auto Craigslist codes, offer generator, offer replies, etc., etc., etc. The link is

I think you may have misunderstood that site. $295 is for ONE site. I selected the option for four sites and the price changed to $1030.
That site has been around for years, but I don't know anyone first hand who has used them. I don't think the site has been updated in many years because it looks really dated (as of this writing). It seems like the websites you get are pretty dated too. In other words, they don't look like modern websites.
Someone earlier in this thread said they had an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau. I checked just now and it's "C-"... still not great but a little better: bbb.org/dallas/business-reviews/real-estate-investors/real-estate-investors-websites-in-plano-tx-90250423
I'm not trying to bash them or anything, I don't know much about them, only what I can see from their site and the BBB. However, my opinion is that there are some much better options out there.
I saw them and then googled review for them and found myself back here in this blog. It does sound like a very good service. If they can really do all what they say they can. And the price seems great. I just checked their BBB rating and it is now B-. Looking more legit now. Anybody ever sign up with them?

1. Cheap 2. Backoffice database driven (keeps track of all your leads) 3. Automated drip campaign folllow up 4. Template driven so easy to set up an customize, many designs to choose from 5.) Preloaded with many fill in the blank forms for lead capture 6) You can add lead capture pages separate from you main website. 6) Nearly unlimited email accounts you can set up
Cons
1) Not at all mobile friendly. Google will nick you for this 2) Guys name who runs this company is Simon Marcharia and as far as I can tell, he is a one man show. He will always answer your email eventually but don't expect a phone number to call or immediate response. There is some online support and how to videos available.
Overall- for the price its not bad but don''t expect state of the art in website design.
I also bought a site from this service a few years ago. It seemed to work as advertised, but some things seemed suspicious. Example, I originally chose to host it with iPage, but was told by the person referenced above that the site was not compatible. He suggested I buy his hosting plan instead. I needed the site to work so I paid him to host for $65/year.
I wanted to update the site a few years later and had a few questions for him. I have his email address and phone number and left messages via both several times. He will not respond so I decided to start over and build a new site without being held hostage again.
The price is attractive, but the service is a deal killer. Building my own also forced me to learn about website set up and design.

Interactive Real Estate Investor Websites (RealEstateInvestingWebsites.com) have been online for a long time – actually since before mobile websites were relevant on the internet.
For all the years we have been online, we always have some kind of upgrade going on to upgrade existing features or build new ones in response to changing trends on the internet and the real estate market.
And yes - our website designs are all mobile responsive – meaning they automatically adapt to the device you view your website on – PC, laptop, tablet or smart phone.
That being said, we still have lots of clients out there who have our websites that are not mobile friendly. We offer free upgrades for life once you buy one of our websites. For quite a while now. we have sent several emails to get our clients upgrade their websites to become mobile friendly. This has been an ongoing exercise that occupies quite a bit of our time.
As far as I know, we are also the only company that sells real estate investor websites and allows you to install them on your own host (server). Everyone else (I stand to be corrected) requires you to host your website with them for a monthly fee.
This flexibility on our part comes with conditions. We can only manage to do this if your hosting account does not come with any limitations that we can detect and that all system requirements are met. This is the only was the website can run on your server.
We also have a HUGE disclosure statement on our home page about this because this is critical. About 30% of our clients host the websites on their own servers.

@Ron Herrera, your post prompted me to check what happened about your website. Though this is hardly the place to address this, I feel compelled to respond. You bought your website in August 2012. Your hosting account was eventually cancelled after you did not renew it.
On 14-8-2015-12:26, you requested re-activation of your hosting account. Six hours later at 14-8-2015-18:22 we responded for you to provide the new domain name for update (ticket 53124) . Your next response was 9 days later on 24-8-2015-13:40, and we responded on 25-8-2015-15:01 (ticket 53220) instructing you how to point your domain to our servers so we could complete re-installation. We did not hear from you again. All communication to us is logged online in your account.
I don't give excuses; maybe there was a lapse in communication somewhere that caused you to look elsewhere, and I do apologize for it. Once you buy our website you own it for life; if you do need it in future, you just need a compatible hosting account.

First, to clarify about the price, we don’t offer 4 websites for $295 – yes, this would be too good to be true :) Each website is $295, and you can customize it to suit your needs, e.g. you can customize it with a few clicks for just buying houses, or if you want to combine business models (like buying, selling, wholesaling, private money, etc) you can do it – the websites offers no limitations at all. In fact you can customize it for almost pretty much anything you do.
In other words, you get a feature-packed online software for running real estate investing that is fully adaptable for most, if not all, real estate needs, as an SEO-friendly website that you control.
While we are on pricing, we used to offer the choices of both monthly or yearly hosting fee. Due to the savings offers by the yearly plan, most people opt for the yearly plan. About hosting on your own server:
As mentioned before, we do allow you to host the websites on your own server. We are probably the only ones who allow this. I thought I should clarify something more about server limitations. Over the years, almost 100% of technical issues come from third-party servers caused by server limitations that we cannot control.
The way your server is configured by your host determines what you can and cannot do with your website. Even though the minimum server requirements may be met, and your website is successfully installed on your server, you could find something on your website is not working months or years down the line – and naturally you think something is wrong with your website. Not so…
Our websites are very interactive – submitting a variety of information, generating PDFs, Microsoft Word Docs, automating drip email marketing campaigns, processing pictures, email attachments, etc etc. All these processes must be allowed by your server to execute, or they won’t work.
A simple example:
A simple email must be allowed to go out by your server. No matter how good your website is, if your host imposes email restrictions (e.g. how many emails you can send, and you’ve hit your limit) your website cannot send any email until YOUR SERVER allows it. Of course, email is only one example, there are many more possibilities.
About mobile compatibility.
Obviously, everyone knows this by now – if your website is not mobile responsive, you are dead in the water! From time to time, I still see people with our websites that are NOT mobile friendly (usually HOSTED ON THEIR SERVERS). All we can do is reach out to these people, but otherwise we have no access to their servers or their websites. If you come across such websites, they must have been online for years with no updates, which we offer for free.
