Entrepreneurs have a certain kind of determination to get things done in the quest for success. They’re a different breed of business folk who would rather work every day, all day for themselves than 40 hours a week for someone else. It truly takes some serious motivation to become a successful entrepreneur.

Some of us are purely self motivated, born with an inner drive that pushes us through the day like an unstoppable train crushing goals in the pursuit of success.

However, the majority of us are not quite there — yet.

Most of us need a little kick in the back end to get re-energized — someone or something that reminds us, “Hey, you’ve got dreams! And your dreams won’t wait, so get to it!”

I don’t have the time to watch 30-minute YouTube videos to get motivated. Instead, I use quote cards.

These serve as simple daily reminders that are always with me to keep pushing, keep moving forward, and to keep pursuing my dreams. When you repeat words enough, they turn to thoughts; repeated thoughts turn to actions; and repeated actions turn to progress.

I rotate quotes weekly as my screensaver on my phone so that when I get drained, I can simply glance over and get the boost I need. It may be a silly tactic, but it certainly helps to keep me going.

Living the life of an entrepreneur can be incredibly rewarding, but also discouraging at times. Find your motivation and keep it close to you. You never know when you’ll need it.
